My friend Jackie has been trying to get me to try Options Needles. So, she gave me one of her US 1 needles, and I tried using it on my Hot & Cold Socks. The plan was to knit from one of the Addi US 1 needles to the Options US 1 needle that Jackie gave me. But, as it turns out, the Addi needles I've been using are actually US 2's and not as the package had me believe. Crap for crap.

Well, if you are feeling really brave...I will be more than happy to teach you how to knit toe up, with magic loop...that way you could maybe do mittens OR socks or anything else you want to knit small on ONE circular. Just think, it will save you money AND time. hehehehe

But I really like knitting (at least) one pair of socks at the same time on two circular needles.

Nice. That stinks. And your swatch came out okay?

B was just cracking jokes last night about how I was afraid of the sock. Heh. I don't think it's so much that I'm afraid of it, but more that I don't want to wear it afterwards and ruin it.

Yeah, I know... weird and all that.

Swatches? We don't need no stinking swatches.

And, I know exactly how you feel about not wanting to mess up something you've knitted.
